How we do this work

Urban Ambassadors is an all-volunteer, community driven, nonprofit organization serving Greater Des Moines.

  • We connect Ambassadors to new people, ideas, and resources through monthly meetups, newsletters and outreach events.  

  • We utilize an innovative web presence to grow and connect the sustainability community.

  • We engage Ambassadors in dynamic conversations and engagement through social media platforms.

  • We sustain the financial goals of Urban Ambassadors through an annual fundraising event that engages and inspires the community, as well as pursue grant opportunities.
